MY STORY
Barry has served in several positions of influence where he has made an impactful change. As Assistant and Advisor to the Vice-Chancellor at St. George’s University, he contributed to its thriving multicultural environment. During his tenure as CEO of General Property Corporation, he led initiatives to enhance cruise ship facilities in Grenada. He was also a close aide to the Prime Minister of Grenada as Senior Advisor at the Office of Prime Minister in the Government of Grenada.
Presently, Barry Colly is the Director and Partner of West Indies Management Company, specializing in hotel and tourism development in Grenada. He is the founding co-partner of Solutions Inc: a regional think tank and project management consultancy. As the Director at Savvy Grenada group, he oversees the management of Grenada’s most significant marina and hospitality development, Port Louis and Mount Cinnamon hotel.
In 2020, Barry was appointed as the Chairman of the Grenada Tourism Authority. He is charged with repositioning Grenada’s tourism product on a national, regional, and international level.
He loves fatherhood and spending quality time with his son while maintaining and promoting a fit and healthy lifestyle. Barry enjoys various hobbies such as CrossFit, tennis, filmmaking, and beekeeping in his spare time.
